The Nantucket Yacht Club runs a junior sailing program on Nantucket Harbor whose stated mission is teaching sailing and seamanship in a fun, safe environment while building a lasting connection to Nantucket waters and the Corinthian spirit. The summer schedule runs nine weeks from late June to late August in weekly blocks, with registration opening in early March and a late fee after May 31. It is a private club: non-member families must request a Junior Sailing Guest Membership, which opens in mid-April.
