The Orleans Yacht Club runs a junior sailing program for children ages 8–18 on Town Cove, taking sailors from fundamentals through racing. Classes run Monday through Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm, from late June to mid-August, with a part-week Intermediates track (Mon/Wed/Fri 1:00–4:00pm) for ages 10–17 building on fundamental skills and an Opti Race Team for experienced sailors not yet ready for a 420. OYC club membership is not required to enroll, and scholarships are available for families with financial need.
