Namequoit Sailing Association is a member-driven sailing club on Cape Cod's Pleasant Bay in Orleans, teaching sailing to children since 1950. Its Junior Sailing Program takes ages 8–15 from novice to experienced skipper on the protected upper bay near the clubhouse, progressing from Catalina Capris for beginners to Optimist dinghies sailed solo or with crew, and Club 420s for advanced sailors learning racing tactics. Classes run Monday through Friday with morning or afternoon options, and families can register for both to make it a full sailing day.

Great place for Jr's to learn to sail. Small fleet of boats to learn on. Active racing on Sundays for 14ft and larger.

Attended summer camps there 40 years ago. Glad to see it’s still around. Learned lots of skills there that have served me well over the years, not just great sailing instruction. Great memories.

Both of my granddaughters took the sailing class last summer. They loved the teachers and ended the week as skippers. This summer they want to sign up for the entire summer.
