Sail Martha's Vineyard is a Vineyard Haven nonprofit that teaches sailing, seamanship and maritime heritage to kids ages 8–18 through week-long skill-building courses. Courses ladder from water safety, rowing and Lagoon marine life for ages 8–10, through introductory sailing on Hartley 10 and RS Tera dinghies (knots, rigging, tacking), up to racing, day passages and navigation. Full-day courses run 9:00am–3:30pm Monday–Friday from late June through mid-August, with half-day options for Messing Around in Boats and windsurfing; a membership ($140 youth, $220 family) is required to enroll.
