Young Mariner Program
Private
The Young Mariner Program, run by the Cape Cod Maritime Museum, is a STEM-focused on-the-water summer day camp for students entering grades 4–7, blending boating adventures with hands-on marine science, experiments, games and creative projects. It runs nine week-long sessions from late June through late August, Monday–Friday 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. with an extended-day option to 4:30 p.m., based on the museum's Hyannis waterfront. No boating or science background is required, and need-based scholarships are offered.

Powered by GoogleMy son has participated in the Young Mariner Program two summers in a row! He absolutely loves it and learned so much! Thank you for an amazing experience and we can’t wait to see you next summer.
My children attended this camp for the first time this year and loved it. Being animal and nature lovers this was the right program for them. It mixed hands-on experience with classroom learning and lots of fun along the way. Each day they spent about two hours aboard a boat and filled in the remainder of the day with learning, creation and play. They even spent a day at the beach as a group. The staff were excellent at helping my anxiety prone kids feel welcomed and relaxed throughout the course of the week. They are already asking about camp next year so I know it was a big hit!
