Duxbury Bay Maritime School is a nonprofit on Duxbury Bay running sailing and marine programs for kids ages 6 and up across a range of abilities. Maritime Adventures is its full-day summer program, mixing sailing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, rowing and snorkeling with hands-on marine science; the junior sailing track runs from Opti Clinic (ages 8–12) and Opti Fundamentals (10–12) up to the Opti Advanced Travel Team (10–15) and C420 Fundamentals for doublehanded sailing at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. ACCESSAIL opens sailing to participants age 8 through adult regardless of physical or cognitive challenges.

Cocktail hour under the tent / on the deck was perfect, and dinner inside was amazing. The upstairs deck was available all night as well which was great. While they only have 4 catering options available, the options are all fairly priced. We went with Alden Park - our guests complemented how great the food/bar service was! Jen’s communication is top tier - she answered all questions in a timely manner and held decor for us that was forgotten until we could pick it up. Highly recommend booking DBMS for a wedding venue!
