Rhythm of Learning runs a music-themed day camp in Vernon Hills for ages 3-12, splitting campers into Little Musicians (5-7), Musical Explorers (7-9) and Rock n' Roll (10-12) tracks. Alongside group music lessons, optional private instrument lessons and a talent show or concert, campers get a conventional camp week: swimming and the Vernon Hills water park, outdoor games, sports, tennis, arts and crafts, and a Wednesday field trip to places such as Brookfield Zoo, the Chicago Botanic Gardens and Kohl Children's Museum. Camp hours are 9:00am-3:00pm at $350 per week, with extended care available 7:00-9:00am and 3:00-6:00pm.
