Elmhurst YMCA is a branch of the nonprofit YMCA of Metro Chicago at 211 W. First St. in Elmhurst, and one of more than fifteen Y sites running Y Summer Camp. Traditional camp days include an opening circle, snack, physical activity, experiential learning, lunch, choice time and a closing circle, often with swimming and on-site or off-site field trips; specialty camps cover STEAM topics such as tinkering, robotics, cooking and detective work, and sports and aquatics camps follow their own curriculums. Camp runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with before care (7-9 a.m.) and after care (4-6 p.m.) included at no extra cost; camps are ACA-accredited, financial assistance and CCAP are accepted, and an inclusion team supports campers with disabilities.

Nice place to ice skate. Dress in the Lobby, don’t need skate guards. Ice was in real good shape. Parking lot and street parking available. Staff was very helpful.

Wonderful YMCA!!! There's a pool, basketball court, workout gym with EVERYTHING, free weights, universal weights, sauna, steam shower, treadmills, ellipticals, There's even an ICE RINK! I've fallen in love at first experience getting a membership here. Awesome.

Elmhurst YMCA staff is always welcoming. I am a swimmer and the pool is bright, water is always warm, but not too warm, and I like having a lifeguard on duty. Locker rooms clean. I would recommend Elmhurst YMCA to anyone looking for a great swimming pool and staff.

Nice little community YMCA. Good quality equipment jam-packed into a fairly nice space. Clean with well maintained equipment. Not much in regards to free weights and no platforms. Limited space around machines due to the amount of fitness equipment Small three-lane pool and locker rooms have a sauna and steam room. Small cycling studio and several other small studios. Good old fashion gymnasium for basketball and other activities.

I am probably not the best person to objectively judge this place considering I'm infatuated with it. For someone visiting for the first time probably nothing will stand out. Yet there are so many amenities here - pool is pretty nice, there is a huge gym and ice rink is magical in the winter. Their youth programs are pretty good. Considering they have mentioned amenities (pool, gym, ice rink) they are able to take kids for lots of extra activities.
