Park Center, at 2400 Chestnut Ave., is the Glenview Park District's indoor recreation facility and the site of several district summer camps. Camp Funview runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for ages 7-12, with games, crafts and sports, swimming at outdoor pools three times a week, two field trips a week, and a nut-safe lunch included at no extra cost. Summer Explorers serves ages 4-6 on the same 9-3 schedule with themed outdoor activities, and Fit 4 Kids Camp Extravaganza offers sports, art and theme days for ages 3-8.

★★★Galapagos IslandsGood gym, however they should close later on weekends. We can all agree that 5pm as way too early, especially for a gym since most gyms close at 12am every day. We aren’t asking for much, but even 7pm would be nice
★George LeClaireThe building is nice. The free track for Glenview residence. Upstairs is nice. However, the Glenview Park District collects an enormous amount of property tax from residence get this. Most of your property tax actually goes to the part district. The next amount goes to the library. The next amount goes to Cook County and the least amount gets to go to the town you live in, which is probably the most important to you. The part district massively over charges for everything I don’t mind them charging for their classes, but they hold all kinds of events like Easter, egg hunts, and things that many other suburbs do at no charge. Why penny pinch your own residence a friend of mine recently was involved in a bunch of spin classes at the park district which she thought we’re going well. Everybody loved them. They developed friendships. It was such a good deal well without even asking, and they stopped doing a bunch of them because they said they weren’t money makers. The job of the part just took us not to make a bunch of money is to provide a service to the residence to live here and pay a property tax to them all year long. There should be a way for residence that don’t use the facility whatsoever to not participate in the property tax. I know if somebody played golf a lot they wouldn’t want me paying for their golf so why should you have to pay for stuff you Dan
★★★★★Cecilia OhPark district programs offer so many programs, classes, there is so much space surrounded by big prairie and lake for exercise, learning, relaxing, annual events, 4th of July fireworks, meeting people anything good you can think of for all ages. Not only the activity programs there are nursery school, summer camp, senior center, a cafe, a clinic for keeping good health. It never stops seeking to provide more for the community.
