Rauner Family YMCA
Private
Rauner Family YMCA is a branch of the nonprofit YMCA of Metro Chicago at 2700 S. Western Ave. in Chicago, and one of more than fifteen Y sites running Y Summer Camp. Traditional camp days include an opening circle, snack, physical activity, experiential learning, lunch, choice time and a closing circle, often with swimming and on-site or off-site field trips; specialty camps cover STEAM topics such as tinkering, robotics, cooking and detective work, and sports and aquatics camps follow their own curriculums. Camp runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with before care (7-9 a.m.) and after care (4-6 p.m.) included at no extra cost; camps are ACA-accredited, financial assistance and CCAP are accepted, and an inclusion team supports campers with disabilities.

The staff in the teen program are awesome. They care about the teens, and they have fun things to do, and they are learning cool things. I like how they participated in Picturing Hope with the JCC. Can't wait to see what they do next.
I love this YMCA! They have a great early education program available. Their gym is never packed like a planet fitness, the membership is cheaper too. Parking is always available. My family participates in their soccer programs for all ages.
Need to have better communication should have a schedule posted at front desk or online the days the gym gonna be rented came 2x and events was going on in gym with no schedule posted or nothing
Excellent facility would definitely recommend! There was plenty of space for working out in three different rooms, and the locker rooms were clean and tidy. I also took full advantage of the steam room.
