Berkshire Trails Camp (formerly Kutsher's Sports Academy, founded 1968) is a co-ed overnight sleepaway camp for boys and girls ages 7-17 on Lake Buel just outside Great Barrington. Under new ownership since late 2024, it operates as a traditional sleepaway camp; two-week sessions are offered. The former sports-academy program has been rebranded to a broader traditional-camp model.

My youngest went this year for her first time away from home, and the counselors made sure she felt comfortable and had a great time.
