Camp Massasoit is Springfield College's day camp on its East Campus, serving children ages 5 to 15 with a challenge course, archery, Project WILD, boating, swim lessons and free swim, plus arts and crafts, music and outdoor games. Campers ages 12 to 15 can instead join Walk-A-Bout adventure sessions built around hiking, orienteering, disc golf, paddling, rock climbing and mountain biking, each including a one-night overnight camping trip in the second week. Four two-week sessions run from late June to late August, 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., with optional early care from 8:00 a.m. and late care until 5:00 p.m. The camp states it is fully accredited by the American Camp Association, and two Sargeant Scholarships plus a financial request form are available.

This is simply a nature area and does not have anything associated with a college campus. The grounds are pleasant for a stroll when the weather is good, but the name is simply misleading.

This camp has been a consistent summer highlight for our kids for 5+ years now. They get to enjoy the outdoors, stay active, and develop amazing relationships with their counselors and other kids. The staff is second to none, operations for pickup/drop off and child safety is flawless, and the fun they have together is priceless. Definitely among if not the best in WMass!

This is a great place to get in touch with nature. They have trails through the woods that travel along side lake massasoit. Dog friendly!

Our son has gone to Camp Massasoit for three years in a row now and has had a great experience every year. The staff is very good and the activities are engaging and challenging.

A beautiful, peaceful place. The woods, the lake, the wildlife and of course the historic pueblo style architecture and original native American artwork.
