Camp Grier is a 655-acre overnight summer camp in Old Fort (founded 1952) for children roughly 2nd-12th grade (ages 7-17). Weekly sessions center on outdoor adventure - zip lining, canoeing, horseback riding and mountain biking - with specialty tracks including equestrian and farm camp, aimed at building confidence and connection to nature. Weekly fees run about $795-$1,590.

Erin introduces you to each horse even if you’re not paired with that horse. She goes over everything about the horses from start to finish. Safety, directing the horse, horses background/history and their personalities. I’ve been to many horseback riding locations and this one by far is one of the best. I definitely recommend this experience for all riders from guests who have never ridden to experience riders to small children. You really do feel safe on the horses and they do not wear mouth bits which I absolutely love! Thank you Erin I will definitely be back!!!
