Traditional overnight summer camp for boys ages 6-17 in the Blue Ridge Mountains at Zirconia/Tuxedo, founded 1922 and run by the Bell family (sister camp to Camp Green Cove). The non-competitive, non-regimented program lets boys direct their own days across hiking, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, mountain biking, rock climbing and horseback riding, and is known for an extensive wilderness-trip program from intro overnights to multi-day expeditions.

My son and I went for the family/alumni camp Labor Day weekend, and as they diligently maintain things in the wonderful original condition and design, almost nothing has changed since I was there in the early 70s.
