Powered by GoogleAwesome facility, historically interesting. Great trail to fascinating ruins of a 18th century textile mill to the beautiful Glendale shoals. Climbing wall also available at the scout camp at the trailhead.
We brought our summer camp here twice in a week and they absolutely loved it! The guides took us to the broad river to canoe which was an amazing experience. There’s an indoor climbing room which the kids really enjoyed. They’ve got a lot of awesome things going on here, we’re grateful to have had the opportunity to utilize it!
What a great place to bring groups to explore the outdoors. Marie will help you with all your planning needs.
I took my Wilderness First Aid this weekend and it was a great learning experience. My course instructor was Matthew Kelly and he was extremely knowledgeable with a tremendous amount of real life experience in Scouting and backpacking. Having taken this class has me more comfortable (and prepared) for a possible medical situation in a remote environment. Thank you Matthew, GOLC, and Palmetto Council!
