Some of the most disgusting treatment of both animals and clients I have ever witnessed. Every competition, riders (those employed with the farm, I place no blame on the minors who were riding for them) routinely competed with unwashed and undermuscled horses with ill-fitted and improper equipment, all of this being allowed by Crosby. Clients would have to witness her and her (at the time) spouse get in loud verbal arguments while on the farm, and in front of their child. Crosby’s training works only for little kids and beginners, and it shows. Arenas and barns are poorly built, with deep footing that could easily cause stress on the legs. There were often too many horses for the space that Crosby had, with horses having to be turned out in large mixed groups, often leading to injury due to fights breaking out. There were not enough stalls as well. Stalls were rarely cleaned on time, with a mare once giving birth in a maggot filled stall that clearly had not been cleaned in weeks (mare later died of an infection). Crosby had an appaloosa stallion, who she insisted on keeping, but was horribly trained, once taking a literal chunk out of someone’s arm. They would leave him outside in the summer heat for weeks on end, leading to him getting extensive sunburn. Crosby routinely violated boarding contracts, which promised access to daily turnout, daily stall cleaning, and training, all of which would be violated. Clients would have to clean their own stalls, despite paying Crosby to have her stall cleaners do it. Atleast 4 horses died in the time that I spent there. This farm barely qualifies as something more than a hoarder’s house and a backyard breeding operation. If you care about your animals or your child’s progression in this sport, look literally anywhere else and you will find more quality services.

Crosby was a great instructor for my first ever lesson. You can tell those horses are very loved and well taken care of. I wanted to improve my seat and really learn to feel the horse under me and she helped me do just that in one single lesson. I hope to soon take more, but life is getting in the way at the moment. Great first impression of this place and hope to be back soon!

We have had great experiences with this barn and its trainers. We live a good distance away, but have not been able to find anywhere closer that we like as much. Crosby has been very flexible in working with us to come up with a schedule, since we have an hour drive. I also can't say enough good things about Morgan and Caroline. They are both great trainers and go the extra mile for the kids. Morgan has taught my daughter more confidence in riding by letting her ride to her full potential, but without pushing her. Their lessons and both safe and fun while still learning, which is what you look for in a good lesson program. The smile on my daughters face after a lesson with Morgan says it all. Everyone at the barn is friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome! Including all the farm animals. :)

My daughter has been riding with Crosby and her team for over a year now and we couldn’t imagine training anywhere else. Crosby and team are always so professional, knowledgeable, and patient especially with the younger folks. Rylie has learned a ton of skills from her regular trainer but others have also provided advice as they’ve been around the barn too. Crosby, Morgan, and all trainers have always been incredibly professional in their communication and education. Safety is of utmost importance but everyone still has fun while learning! Thank you all for allowing us to join the “barn family”!
