Barrington Swim Club is a year-round competitive USA Swimming club team of about 150 swimmers ages 6-18, based at 616 W. Main Street in Barrington. Swimmers train in age- and ability-based practice groups (Colt ages 6-12, Pony and Mustang ages 9-14, Mavericks ages 11-14 for top age-group swimmers) working on stroke technique, starts, turns and meet procedure. Practices run roughly ten months a year and swimmers compete in meets; this is a season-long team commitment, not a summer camp.
