I went here two summers in a row. And two sessions each. I had a traumatic childhood and this camp was a band aid for my soul. It was the happiest time of my youth. The memories have faded as any event from 35 years ago. But the love and of the woods, cabins, craft building, archery, sailing, water skiing gave me skills and a passion for the outdoors that has never left me. The warmth and love the staff showed me fixed the brokenness in my heart. Camp Algonquin is truly an amazing place that i never wanted to leave. It was my Nederland
Beautiful facility and friendly staff. I stay at this place for a bike race every year and it is an excellent experience each time. I am planning to get my daughter involved in some of their summer camp activities.
This place is beautiful and amazing! The staff is responsive and wonderfully knowledgeable. If this is your campers first time spending the night away from home, they are in great hands! Clean and super accommodating for every need. You will LOVE this place!
Two of our boys went to weeks 4 and 6 this year. They had an amazing time and were fully exhausted when we picked them up. The staff is well trained, kind and compassionate. My older son was really worried about going but had such a great time he's now interested in being a CIT in two years! During their time there the boys were able to experience so many cool activities: riding horses, going tubing, paddle boarding and canoeing on the lake as well as biking, high ropes, rock wall climbing, zip line and more with some activities depending on the age group. The boys each came back with an awesome group photo and information for next years activities. So grateful to have a safe place for our kids to have an amazing adventure! They can't wait to go back. thanks
