The SpartanNash YMCA in Wyoming hosts one of the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids' branch-based summer day camps, running Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for children ages 5-12 who have completed young fives or kindergarten. Ten themed weeks run June 8 through August 14, mixing songs, arts and crafts, character development, team building, sports, fine arts, reading, science and swimming; the Y provides morning and afternoon snacks and campers bring a peanut-free lunch. Camps are licensed by the State of Michigan, run a 1:10 counselor-to-camper ratio and include no screen time, and a Y membership is not required. Bussing to YMCA Camp Manitou-Lin is offered from this branch. Weekly rates are $250 for members and $300 for non-members, with financial assistance available.

★★Jane DoePool closed again on Tuesday for open swim. 2x due to poop and apparently they close this pool for swimming lessons when Visser is closed for various reasons. It's incredibly frustrating to pay for the use of the pool only to get turned away again and agsin.
★★★Ryan POverall, I do enjoy coming to this Y. Is the closest Y location to where I live. Have been coming here throughout the years ever since it opened. Most of the equipment is fine and in working order. A few pieces of equipment are not. Floors in the men's locker room are somewhat dirty - dirt, dust, debris. The four corners around the running track have a bit of debris/particles on and could use a good mopping and polishing. There are black marks on the walls by the chin-up area. Also it appears that there is a large hole in the wall that hasn't been fixed yet. Parking lot looks rather bad - lots of cracks and holes in the pavement. Paint could stand to be touched up in many areas of the 2nd floor workout areas. During the warmer weather months it doesn't appear that the windows are getting washed at all ever. The Spartan Nash Y seems to be showing its age.
★Olive LalunaIf you’re lucky there is ONE work out class in the morning. I have been on the app for an hour looking for a class in the early morning 5/5:30am but all of them are full. Wouldn’t you think if the ONE class you have in the morning is always full you might add some more? I have one opportunity a day at the 5-5:30 slot to work out in a class and it is always full.
★Hands of Care Childcare LLCUnsure if I want to address the high rates, lack of empathy and or customer service. Originally I spoke with Courtney, respectfully asking to speak with someone above her position hoping to get a little more understanding of the situation. Hoping for better service as a one time courtesy still while making my past due payment. Past due payment due to the canceled card info on file. My teenage boys are waiting patiently while being told No they can’t go back. Finally chat with Jason and he’s makes the situation harder. Saying, I need to come inside to take care of this matter and etc. when I stated, I did everything electronically in the beginning he changed his instructions. These 2 had madd me not wanting to participate at this location at all. Sadly for my boys who look forward to attending. Get it together YMCA SPARTAN NASH. We pay for your services. Show us you care!!
