Seneca Sailing Academy is a nonprofit youth sailing program on Seneca Lake, running instructional weeks hosted by the Seneca Yacht Club in Geneva from late June through mid-August. Adventure Weeks run Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, for ages 9-17 at all skill levels, mixing beginner instruction with different boat classes, on-water challenges and games; Opti Week is a four-day session, 9am to 4pm, for ages 7-11 focused on rigging, boat handling and water safety in Optimist dinghies (capped at 12). A dedicated Girls and Young Women's Week runs the Adventure Week format for sailors who self-identify as girls, sailing Optis, 420s and Lasers with opportunities to skipper. Three-hour private lessons are available for ages 7-17, sailors must pass an age-appropriate swim test, and scholarships are offered on request.

David Kendrick is a great instructor. I enjoyed sailing with him. This is a beautiful location. The yacht club is perfect.
