The Lake Keuka Sailing Foundation runs the junior sailing school at the Keuka Yacht Club in Hammondsport, a program founded in 1953 and among the oldest in the country. Sessions run Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, from June 29 through August 14, and registration is open to students aged 8 and up at $355 per session with discounts for additional sessions or students. Beginners start in SailCube/Optimist boats learning boating safety, teamwork and confidence through games and on-water practice, while the intermediate Laser and FJ program adds boat-handling, racing fundamentals and crewing. The program is approved by US Sailing and all instructors are US Sailing Level One, CPR and First Aid certified.

Good food and beer. Dry dock and wet slips available. Membership required.
An absolutely wonderful place and great people. Not at all like a standard yacht club. These are real people and very friendly especially if you are a sailor. The club is in a prime spot with a magnificent view of the lake. They have all the facilities required for safe boating in Keuka Lake.
Friendly fun people -best kept secret! Shhhhh
The best kept secret on Keuka Lake. This a "private" club but easy and cheap to join. Cheapest way to be on Keuka Lake, there generally is a small wait to get a slip for your boat, but you can also join as a social member and get cheap drinks and food at the bar. Been a member for almost 15 years
