Cornell Community Sailing runs a youth sailing class for ages 8-17 out of the Merrill Family Sailing Center on Cayuga Lake in Ithaca. Sessions run five days, 9am-4pm, in weekly blocks from early July through mid-August, covering sailing fundamentals, water safety and seamanship alongside team-building activities. Ages 8-12 attend the full-day program, while ages 13-17 join an afternoon-only session. Registration is open to the community through the Cornell Sailing Center.
