Yacht club junior sailing program on Lake Ontario offering year-round instruction for ages 6-18, from beginners to advanced racers, and open to non-members as well as members. Summer camp runs June 29-August 14 (race teams to August 21), and sailors can book a single week or the whole program. Half-day Dinghy Demons (ages 6-8) runs 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and includes a daily 30-minute swim lesson in the club pool with Red Cross-certified instructors; full-day classes run 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and include Beginner Optimist (8-12), Adventure Sailing (10-14), and Learn to Sail and Intermediate 420 (12-15), plus Optimist, 420 and Laser race teams that travel to regattas. All instructors are US Sailing certified with Safe Sport, concussion and Red Cross CPR/First Aid training. Lunch is available for purchase Tuesday-Friday; a 10% sibling discount and a free week for full-season signups are offered.

Wi-fi is a bit weak on the wall. There is a fee for a pump out. The club is close by to the neighboring marina and a grocery store. Some noise from the boats on the river, but not too bad and mostly on weekends. In the channel entrance to the club, it can get shallow. We saw a boat run aground.
