Great facilities - well maintained clay and hard tennis courts, pickleball courts, heated pool (seasonally) and platform tennis. All the staff is top notch and feels like a family. Members are friendly and there are playing opportunities for every age and level. Recently renovated gym and locker rooms have been a wonderful addition to the facility.

I simply can't say enough good things about the Tennis Club of Rochester – I absolutely love it there! From the moment you step through the doors, you can feel the passion for tennis in the air, creating an atmosphere that's both invigorating and welcoming. The courts themselves are always in fantastic condition, clearly well-maintained and providing an excellent playing experience whether you're there for a casual hit or a competitive match. It's such a pleasure to play on surfaces that are consistently top-notch. Beyond the superb facilities, what truly sets the Tennis Club of Rochester apart is its vibrant community. Everyone, from the staff to fellow players, is incredibly friendly and approachable. It's easy to find hitting partners of all skill levels, and the club fosters a genuine sense of camaraderie. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, you'll feel right at home. I've also been incredibly impressed with the quality of the coaching and programs offered. There's something for everyone, whether you're looking for private lessons to refine your technique, group clinics to improve your strategy, or fun league play to test your skills. The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely committed to helping you improve your game. If you're a tennis lover in the Rochester area, or even just curious to pick up a racquet, I wholeheartedly recommend the Tennis Club of Rochester. It's more than just a place to play tennis; it's a true community where passion for the sport thrives. I genuinely look forward to every visit, and I'm sure you will too!

About a decade ago, I took a “Learn to Play Tennis” class at the Tennis Club of Rochester, and it truly changed my life! That first class sparked a passion for tennis that led me to take drills, additional classes, and eventually play on seasonal courts. TCR has been so much more than a tennis club—it’s where I’ve met some of my closest friends, found a welcoming community, and stayed active through competitive play. The exercise and camaraderie have been incredible for my physical and mental well-being. The entire team at TCR is fantastic, fostering an environment that’s supportive, fun, and inspiring. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, TCR is a game-changer. Highly recommend!

I moved to Rochester in Feb of 2023, and I was pretty bummed bc I was leaving a great tennis set up, and playing tennis is a big part of my mental health. I was eager to find a place to play, and thankfully got connected to teaching pro Sam C. As a non-member, I was able to play once a week in the mens drills group and it was honestly so fun, helpful, affordable, and I met some now core friends. At the beginning of this summer I finally became a full member and it's been the best decision. Super nice facilities, friendly staff, fun tournaments, and awesome community. Grateful for TCR!

Some of the best clay courts I have ever played on and I have played on a lot of clay courts. The last few years the courts have been outstanding! Hats to to the court maintenance staff!
