Lido Isle Yacht Club runs a junior sailing program in Newport Harbor with spring, summer and fall sessions; the 2026 summer program ran June 15 to July 23. Classes progress from Starfish and Sea Urchin beginners through Novice/Pre-C3 and Sabot Racing, sailing Naples Sabots, Lasers and CFJs and mixing practice sessions with friendly regattas. Enrollment is tied to the club: non-member families must apply and be approved as Sponsored Guests before they may register, and applications are accepted at the club's discretion.
