Camp Olson YMCA
Private
Camp Olson YMCA is a youth summer camp on more than 1,200 acres in the pines of the Chippewa National Forest near Longville, with five lakes, three of them entirely within camp property. It keeps its own herd of horses, and every camper does a ring ride, ground activities, or a trail ride at age 11 and up. Campers fish from the dock, a pontoon or a canoe, and swim at a lifeguarded waterfront with a keylog and watermat, with a sauna for chilly days. The camp also runs family programs, retreats and off-season rentals, and has operated since the mid-1950s.

Powered by GoogleWe had our wedding here on their off season and it was incredible!! Such a beautiful camp and friendly staff. We are thankful that they let us host our event here 😊 Our family and friends had many compliments for the venue and the experience overall.
A beautiful camp with an activity for every kid. Top notch facilities and staff who work their hardest to create lasting memories for all the youth who attend. Highlights of activities include sailing, horseback riding, target sports, mountain biking, and so much more!!!
Family Camp was the highlight of every summer. Both of our kids learned how to ride their bikes on the dirt roads. Lots of great memories.
Amazing counselors, teachers kids responsibility during cafeteria times by cleaning up after themselves while also making it fun, gives kids a chance to be more social and create life long friends, and also multiple activities including swimming, arts and craft, archery, bonfires with other cabins, card games. I went there for a few summers and I met one of my now best friends there, and I have great memories! Highly recommend, for all children or even teenagers who want to become a CIT there!
Your kids will make life long friends and long lasting memories of fun filled adventures amazing food, deep connections to the north woods, and a love for nature. The programing is wonderful and the staff charming and compelling. The cost is affordable compared to other summer camps.
