Living Word Bible Camp near Grand Rapids was founded in 1973 to offer affordable Bible camp to kids, and now runs more than seven weeks of summer programming. It hosts camps for grades 3-8 and a teen camp for grades 9-11, mixing Bible study with kickball, singing, swimming, canoeing, fishing, crafts and games; it also runs men's, women's and marriage retreats.

Beautiful Lake, clean cozy cabins, for kids, enough counselors per camper. Plus they vet their counselors well. Love the chapel. And the food!!!' It's real food! The kids do lots of Bible. It's run by all volunteers, and is an amazing camp for kids to learn about the Bible as well as have a great time at a very reasonable cost. The camp has rented a facility for all these years, but is now building their own facility at Deer Lake that will be amazing! We're so excited!!
