The Minnesota Elks Youth Camp is a free, week-long coed camp for Minnesota youth ages 9-13 on about 275 acres spanning Pelican, Markee, Stevens and Woodtick Lakes near Nisswa. Campers swim, kayak, boat, fish, hike, do nature study and team building, climb, shoot archery, play carnival games and put on campfire skits. Enrollment is by referral rather than open registration: most campers are referred to a local Elks Lodge by adults who know the family, and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks pays all camp fees and arranges transportation. More than 600 kids attend each year, and the camp has run for 60 years.

Great experience for kids! My 9yr old daughter can’t stop talking about how much fun she had and how great this organization is 😊

Best camp my 10 year old has ever been too. Counselors are really nice and respectful.

Beautiful place. Any chance a parent has to send their kids to the camp should encourage them to go. Didn’t realize how large the camp is. Elk members should see the camp and continue to support it.

My twin kiddos love this place year after year... They only have one year left due to age. They would live there all summer if they could. Future cabin leaders? Im thankful to be an Elk member in Hopkins... Thankful for the awesome opportunity this camp gives all kids. A chance be be just that... kids... without need, care, want or worry all while slowing life a bit to enjoy the week at the "Best place on Earth"

I went here for the Gals and gils veteran's fishing retreat. They have youth camp in summer and will host kids of deployed military parents. It is beautiful place. The building are rustic but we'll kept.
