We have been using bear paddle about 6 months. Our daughter was doing well at first and then she had regression. Unsure why, the school suggested a new coach. We said ok and all that did was turn into a new coach everytime we went in. Understanding that these “coaches” or at least some of them are children themselves so if your child doesn’t engage, then the coach doesn’t engage with them. So you sit there for thirty minutes wasting thirty dollars to watch your child play splashing games like they do in a bath tub. Completely wasteful. We asked to exit early and the 16 year old behind the desk said it’s 30 days notice to cancel. So now the next three weeks we won’t bother bringing our child there to learn absolutely nothing but will still be getting charged. Not saying everyone will have this experience however they do nothing to work with you when it’s clear your child is struggling and the young coaches aren’t engaging to try and get your child moving. On top of that, we didn’t realize that when you switch coaches once it’s means everytime you go in there you get a new coach. Really a let down for us, be mindful if your kid is struggling, Bear paddle is more concerned with get there thirty bucks per session than anything else. Oh and one more thing, sometimes you have your child with one other child, sometimes it’s your child with two other children. Sometimes your paired with bigger kids, who obviously splash more as they swim scaring the smaller children. Really overall poorly organized and unsure how they are still business. Dated facility, poorly maintained.

My daughter currently swims at this BearPaddle location in a Teddy class. I’m writing this review as a shout out to some of the coaches that have worked with her! My first big shout out is to coach Piper!! although she wasn’t my daughter’s permanent coach she was always very kind and made sure we were having a good experience as well as being willing to help in any way she could wether it was during class or outside of class during the times we got to swim with her! And my second shout out is to coach Alex! Who is our current coach. He is very patient even when my daughter isn’t willing to participate or having an off day, he ensures our 30 minutes are always productive. You can really tell these two coaches truly care and love their jobs showing their passion through teaching. I can tell they have both been working for the company awhile and want to ensure each student gets the best from what they offer. Great job guys! They definitely deserve high pay and or a reward for their hard work!

My family has been swimming at bear paddle since 2013, we took a break and returned with two of my youngest kids they have progressed so much with the help of Piper. She is very kid friendly and my kids love her !!! The welcoming environment of the front desk, Jacy is always so helpful and knowledgeable when I have questions. I highly recommend this location.

Our daughter loves to swim now. She started at Bear Paddle at 3yo and was pretty afraid of water, but has made so much progress in the last 4 years. Now she’s about to graduate their program. She loves the events they put on occasionally and loves to do the activities related to the monthly themes. She practices a lot during family swim, and loves to show off her skills to her cousins. She has had so many favorite coaches in her time there; they have helped her come out of her shell and be more outgoing, as well as be proud of her accomplishments. Thanks Bear Paddle!
