My whole family loves it here! Everyone in the child watch is amazing and my daughters look forward to going every time. It’s not just babysitting but an interactive learning experience for them. The group classes are also amazing, Jen and Carrie are great instructors. Well worth the price.

I see you... to the one-star reviewers, keep those stars and take them elsewhere, where you're just another paycheck. This gym was a breath of fresh air—no endless pickleball distractions. Basketball court was beckoning! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I stood out; I wasn’t from around here. The front desk team member kindly walked me to the childcare. The gym wasn’t crowded, and the equipment was more updated than at my home location in Katy. I took a moment to soak in the vibe and was asked several times if I needed anything. No, ma’am, I replied—the building feels nostalgic, like an 80s school, with brick walls painted over and a playground where dreams still come alive, complete with an old-school kickball field. Outside, there's a scenic running track surrounded by trees, a baseball field, and a swimming pool. The locker rooms are simple and cozy, with a private Christian school locker room vibe—nothing flashy but genuine. Spin class was buzzing with 80s jams, and everyone was in the zone. Honestly, YMCAs are like a box of chocolates—you never quite know what you’ll get. This gym is a "rocky" gym—full of heart, big dreams, and reliability. If you're looking for something fancy and polished, this isn't the place. We came to work hard and push ourselves to the limit, and that’s exactly what we found.

Excellent facilities and equipment. Plenty of variety to keep you busy. Swim instructions and instructor are great. Really appreciate the staff, who are always polite and helpful when needed. The child care staff are a joy to see, and attentive. They provide a good variety of activities for our son.

I recently came to this YMCA to attend yoga for 5:30. The space was too small to fit very many people. When my mom and I entered the room, the instructor didn’t acknowledge us or encourage anyone to make space for us. We decided right away that we wouldn’t be able to participate in the class. Highly disappointed and most likely won’t be returning. I’ve worked at the YMCA myself, so I know what it looks like to have better service and be more accommodating.

The YMCA in Pearland is a family-focused place and our kids have a wide variety of activities to choose from year-round. The prices are reasonable for membership and classes for kids. Soccer, swim, archery, art...my kids love to try it all. They are in a safe and fun environment and their Y coaches and leaders are an extension of their community!
