My kids looooooove the YMCA. There is always something to do and a camp to sign up for. The staff varies in ages and all are welcoming and helpful.

As a former “Y” baby myself…I love the organization and its purpose, the staff, and that everything is family focused. Thank you for patience with the little ones who need guiding and even more for the older kids with their mood swings, lol. Praying my kids get a lifetime of experiences and friendships like I did. It’s a place for all.

Im 69 and took my 13 year old son and friend to swim Sunday March 23, 2026 Like all kids do around water jumped off the side. A young woman yelled at the top of her lungs at the children. She was not in ymca attire and when I asked if she worked there - yelled back at me. YES I DO. The 2 lifeguards working can advise who she is. I do not pay $1500.00 + per year to have my family abused. I know this is not how the Ymca trains the Staff.

The youth sports division rarely has coaches even tho you pay full price for the program, and the staff members assigned to coach the teams are extremely lazy , always on their phones and unmotivated to do their jobs. Complete waste of money. Enroll your kids elsewhere.
