Me and my 10 yo sister came excited to swim, and we had planned on buying a 1 day swim pass. Little to my knowledge, it cost $15 for an adult, and $10 for a kid. This is for one single day. That’s absolutely ridiculous, and we are residents. Where has the sense of community gone? Why are we charging $25 for 2 people to swim for one day. Nobody cares about each other here anymore, everything is for profit and greed.

I've been a member at the Rec Center for about 10 years. Most of these years, I've had a natatorium-only membership. I've noticed a lot of improvements recently: 1) In the past, when a swim team was having practice, only three lanes were available for members. There were times that only one lane was available. Maybe even a time or two when no lanes were available. Now, there are 5 lanes consistently available. 2) Communication is much better, informing people when things will be closed. In the past, on a number of occasions, I've shown up at the Rec Center just to have to turn around and go home. That's been very aggravating. I much appreciate the improved communication. 3) The water in the showers has been consistently warm. I always look forward to a warm shower after swimming laps. For a while, pretty consistently, there was no hot water. I mentioned this to staff at least 5 different times. Definitely felt like I was being annoying, but I was incredibly annoyed. I haven't noticed it being an issue for a number of months. I recently went to the Stroke Clinic, led by Margot. I already knew how to swim pretty well, but I learned SO much in the 3 sessions I attended. Margot is an amazing instructor! I started attending water aerobics classes in the last couple months and love them! Please note that I'm in my 30s. Water aerobics is for everyone! Each of the instructors (Lauren, Jeanne, and Stephanie) have different styles, but they're all great. This past weekend we attended Water Safety Day, which was a free 3-hour community event. It was amazing! Very well done. I met so many great people and learned a lot. My daughter had a blast! I found out that this was only the second year this event was held and was brought to existence by current leadership in the pool area, Brandon and Sally (I'm sure with the help of many others). The two of them have only been there for a couple years, and it sounds like they have big plans for the future! Looking to forward to what's to come!

Great community rec center and natatorium. They have a huge family pool with locker rooms. There is a decent workout area with a surprising amount of equipment. The indoor track is something you cannot find at most gyms. If you are a resident you should definitely check it out.

Might be a good place to workout. We were there for a swim meet for a 5 year old. We were only allowed to go inside for her 2 events (that were 3 hours apart) so we had to sit outside all day
