The Tri-Town YMCA's Y's Kids Summer Day Camp serves children entering 1st through 8th grade and runs June 1 through August 12, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at St. Alexander Parish, 136 S. Cornell Ave. in Villa Park. Each week has a theme with indoor and outdoor activities, swimming at Jefferson Pool on Wednesdays and Fridays, and alternating Thursday field trips or on-site guest entertainment. Lunch and an afternoon snack are provided, and before care (6:30-9:00 a.m.) and after care (4:00-6:00 p.m.) are available; weekly fees run $150-$210 depending on days.

★Tee TeeMy Children have been dealing with discrimination since the very first day they started. One of the directors sue is racist and it’s not a secret. My kids are being harassed daily, screamed at in their faces told they are liars. I’ve also reported this multiple times but of course they all work together and have each other back. It’s sad that I have to force my children to come where they’re not wanted because of their skin color. It’s sickening that these are the people we supposed to trust with our kids safety. Pathetic and sickening that my children feels uncomfortable and outta place due to being mistreated because their skin color is not light like other individuals.

★Shadia TalebThe Director told my son who suffers from trauma to shut his mouth because he was yelling at the staff and her. Thats not ok! Hes a 7 year old it doesn't matter what he does thats their job to be patient with kids if I can put 0 stars I would. His mental health while there worries me. There also was an incident with the assistant principal talking disrespectful to him. Kids can be overwhelming, Thats their job THOUGH to remain calm and understanding. This daycare also purposefully didn't give me the paperwork to continue child care. Don't come here they can't handle kids well. My son also told me akila yelled at a kid to get out of her face. What loser Unprofessional staff. Glad that we found a good sitter for my son now 🙌
