Skyline Children's Theater runs Broadway Summer Camps for ages 5-14 at three Chicago sites: the Athenaeum Center in Lakeview, DePaul School of Music in Lincoln Park, and The Family Room in Lakeview East. Every camper auditions on day one, is cast in a named role with lines, memorizes songs and staged dances, and performs a fully staged musical for family on the final day; 2026 titles include Cinderella, The Jungle Book, The Wizard of Oz, Legally Blonde and Descendants. Camps run one, two or three weeks by level -- Juniors (5-7), Ensemble (5-10), Highlights (8-12), Stars (9-13) and Performers (10-14) -- and days also include acting games, show-themed art projects, and outdoor lunch and recess at the park. It is a no-cut program; aftercare through The Family Room extends coverage to 6 p.m. at that location only.

My kids were apart of two performances, Matilda and Lion King; Each time I was so very impressed with how much the kids learned in just one week!! The dance routines, the lyrics to songs and learning the script… in just one week!! The kids also got a chance to walk to the park for lunch which they enjoyed as well. My children were so sad when camp ended on Friday and asked to attend another session this summer. Skyline campers for life!!❤️❤️
