Adequate fields, terrible parking situation, and horrible entrance and exit off the main road

Grew up playing here. Now my kids get to do something they enjoy here too.

Holy parking situation- The fields are spectacular! They’re very nice and mostly well kept. There is a downed fence though that could be hazardous. There’s also multiple portable bathrooms. However, the parking is absolutely horrendous and the traffic that the lack of parking creates is absurd. If you want to park close to your child’s field; be prepared to get there an hour early (at least). Don’t forget to also bring chairs or a blanket- there’s no seating and no shade.

Has to be the worst soccer complex I have ever been to. Never mind the atrocious parking. It is built on a swamp bottom. They did not even get rain the day we played but the fields were mud holes. Hope you don't need bathrooms because there's only three porta potties for the entire soccer tournament. If I was Chapel Hill I would be embarrassed. Much smaller communities with a lot less money have far superior complexes.

Great birding spot in the woods and waterways adjacent to the soccer fields! Lovely walk in the woods. Great spot for finding woodpeckers of all sorts.
