Powered by GoogleI was very excited to sign my daughter up for guitar lessons here based on the reviews. Unfortunately, it’s been almost impossible to get a call or email returned to complete the sign-up process. Because of the lack of communication, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere. For whoever replied, feel free to look for Zel. Either way we have taken our business elsewhere
My middle school kid has been taking guitar lessons for over a year with an OPSM instructor and loves it. She looks forward to her weekly lesson so much, which is a testament to how enjoyable the instructor is. And she surprised me by secretly learning to play one of my favorite songs, with the very competent instructor's guidance (who apparently learned it over youtube by watching the musical artist play it at a concert). My kid has never complained about lessons--they are apparently that much fun! And my kid is learning a ton!
A fantastic music school. Well run and easy to get to. Parking fills up on Madison, but if your kiddo(s) can be dropped off there’s no problem. Jason Roebke is a highly skilled and encouraging teacher for double bass. We are grateful to find him and this music school!
My son has been taking piano lessons at OPSM for 2 years. He connects well with his piano teacher Mr. Bob and looks forward to his weekly lesson. He is also in Rock Band and enjoys learning classic rock songs with the group led by Ms. Joann. The school is colorful and inviting with state of the art equipment. The recitals are delightful to watch. I highly recommend OPSM.
OPSM is a gem. Group and private music lessons for children and adults alike instill not only strong technique and theory backgrounds but also a love and appreciation for music across genres. We have been an OPSM family from its founding and love the diverse offerings, sparkling space, and the sense of community.
