The previous school basically let her learn at her own pace, and after about 6 months, she made little to no progress. She was still nervous and hesitant, scared to leave the steps and had high anxiety about going underwater. So, my husband and I decided to pull her. She just hit her 2 month mark here at Oak City, with a group of 3 others her age, and her instructor Kendall has FAR EXCEEDED any expectations we had; especially based on our previous experience. Our daughter is willingly dunking herself underwater, she non-reluctantly goes to Kendall to practice new skills and she was floating on her back, on her own, last week! I’m almost in tears every week, witnessing her progress. Kendall is amazing with them! The staff is great; great customer service, extremely helpful and they show a clear passion for what they do…and highly organized!
