Powered by GoogleHad a membership in order to make use of their showers. The shower facilities were not in the best state of repair, and the water temperature was tepid to cold more often than not. Always tons of kids (which is to be expected). The membership fee was extremely reasonable though, so you get what you pay for eh?
Swim lesson used to be on time organized. I don’t know what happened all it’s a mess first day lesson no one know where it’s the class not coach no idea. Not more feedback after finish stage so you no have idea register on the same level or the next. Hope swim lesson get organized back on time
Called today so I can better understand the website dates for adaptive swimming lessons. I was unsure of how many days a week it was and the person on the phone mentioned its on their site in a rude way. The confusion was it says no lesson on a certain date with Fri. I did not know it was once a week or was expected to know. The reason folks call the front desk is for help to better understand and get clarification. I was wanting to come here because I live in Monroe with a child that requires adaptive swim lessons due to a disability and wanted to stay local. But the way the staff handled my question of "can you clarify is this is once a week?" not so nicely saying I should look at the site? no thanks. I do not want my kid being taught there. I can't trust this place if they hire folks who can't be friendly with just a simple question with my child that is non verbal. I rather drive an extra 30 minutes to an establishment that can train the folks properly.
Overpriced for having a freezing cold pool. Not worth the fees when they aren’t being used properly. Had to stop going since the kiddo shivers uncontrollably after 5 minutes of swimming.
Thanks to the Monroe YMCA staff. Especially sending a note to my personal trainer Sabrena Wright! I am so grateful for your help in getting me confident in using free weights and the machines. I don't think I could have done it without you. The personal training sessions was the best money I could have spent. Thanks again for helping me to invest in myself.
