Columbia Athletic Club Juanita Bay in Kirkland, the chain's original club since 1981, runs weekly themed summer day camps for children ages 4 to 12. Each week centers on a theme and typically mixes crafts, sports, swimming and games, with walks to nearby Juanita Beach Park (weather permitting) for nature walks, playground time or sand-castle building. Full-day camp runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and half-day options are also offered. Weekly fees run about $335 plus tax for members and $425 plus tax for non-members, and camp is open to non-members.

★Jane LiuI have been members in this place for quite a while. The staff here is good as always, the equipment is also fine. The major thing I would want to give warning to others is their swim lesson management team. I signed up my kid here more than a year ago. Since then I had been checking pretty regularly to let them know that I am still interested. Several times I tried to ask how the waitlist works, how long is it and how soon we can expect. The answer is barely nothing. No we can not share how it works or how many people are there waiting. Ahead of summer there was hint, oh you are close and we probably going to have more coaches, now it’s half year passing, the answer is basically back to what I got initially It feels completely blindsided while paying the expensive membership fee month over month. It should be a more transparent process. You should alerting people if this is clearly not enough availability. so they won’t continue paying fee and waiting there for a response like that. I would give 0 if allowed to the swim management staff here and want to remind people who maybe doing same thing as I had or is going to try it
★Elias KI went to inquire about adult swimming lessons. They mentioned that they have a 1 year long waitlist. However, in order to get on the waitlist, one has to be a member. I'm not paying a membership just to be on a waiting list.
★★★SwijoThe pool, though often busy, is one of the best in the area; the staff members have been nothing but kind. But for $153 a month / $240 a couple, I don't know, maybe replace the shower curtains when they start to look like this? Not asking for a complete renovation here, but these little details can make a huge difference. Hoping it gets better.
★★★Collin BearnsonJust signed up and already off to a rough start. I came in 30 minutes before closing to use the hot tub and steam room—well within the hours I’m paying for. Instead, I was met with attitude from both the front desk and the lifeguard, basically telling me the gym was closing as if I shouldn’t be there. To make it worse, by the time I got downstairs, the steam room was already locked. Super inconvenient. Amenities should be available until close, not shut down early. Not impressed with this type of service.

It gets a little crowded in the locker room during peak times but normally it’s pretty sparse. Fellow members are easy going. Even friendly (!). Hours are great. We’re really happy here.
