The Mountlake Terrace Recreation Pavilion, run by the City of Mountlake Terrace, hosts SummerScape Day Camp, a traditional day camp built around games, arts and crafts, swimming in the on-site lifeguarded pool, and off-site field trips. Weekly themed sessions run 9am-4pm and are grouped by age as Explorers (6-7), Adventurers (8-10), and Trailblazers (11-13), with a counselor-in-training track for teens 13-14. Before care runs 6:30-9am and after care 4-6:30pm. The pavilion also hosts shorter programs including Aqua Kids for ages 5-7 (9am-12pm) and Play-Well LEGO engineering camps.

Powered by GoogleWonderful pool experience! Lifeguards were great! Inexpensive compared to similar facilities in other Puget Sound communities.
Today I took my granddaughter swimming. When the Front desk is your first interaction with the facility it would be so nice to get a hello, a smile anything that doesn’t indicate you are putting this woman out for wanting to pay. As the rates aren’t posted it would be nice if they asked how old the child is in the stroller. When I inquired I was handed a piece of paper. Under a year is free. I then said she is under one and was told “I don’t think so”. This person’s customer service skills are lacking in so many areas. Once in the change room a woman who overheard the conversation came to me and told me she is unfriendly to all. Her husband comes for coffee daily and sees it frequently. Maybe some coaching would help this employee.
Kids swim class is a total waste of money. Taken two kids there and continually try to address their issues but no-one seems to care. The teacher is dismissing and non attentive but mgmt. does not address it. I've even proven my point to a mgr. whom seemed to be involved and appoint changes but eventually disregarded and AGAIN dismissed the issue asking for yet MORE $$ for same classes. They should be shut down! Nothing but a couple teens babysitting, teaching NOTHING!!!
My kid has been getting swim lessons here for 2 yrs and we ve tried every other place around. I can tell this is by far the best for lessons. Even better than goldfish or ymca or others. The pool temperature is perfect for kids. That was our biggest criteria when we joined. We travel 7 miles for lessons because they have the best coaches and staff
The staff is amazingly wonderful especially Cari, wow she is just so helpful and polite. Food is very good and pool is very fun to swim in, locker rooms are great. Swim team coaches are very knowledgeable about their craft, the child care staff just love children and help them every step along the way of their journey. The only thing I would change is having a bigger mens locker room.
