Seattle Parks and Recreation offers summer camps at Loyal Heights Community Center in Ballard, ranging from AM/PM activity camps to nature day camps. Preschool camps serve ages 3-5 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; activity camps serve ages 5-12; and nature day camps run a full day, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., for ages 6-12 at roughly $400 a week. Registration is open to the public by the week, and income-based scholarships of 50-90% off may apply.
