Licensed summer day camp operated by the Associated Recreation Council with Seattle Parks & Recreation at the Jefferson Community Center on Beacon Hill. Weekly themes include Amazing Architects, Beat Builders music, Weather Watchers and Planet Protectors, each with a field trip and indoor and outdoor activities. Camp runs Monday-Friday, 7:30am-6pm, from June 22 to August 27, registered by the week. Open to ages 5-12, with income-based scholarships and Working Connections Child Care subsidies accepted.

★★★★★Allysa JohnsLove this park! Has great views, lots of grassy areas, and the community center has some amazing free programs like toddler gym! Only downside is that the playground (besides the swings which had both baby swings and a swing-chair) is a bit big for younger kids. The steps into and out of the playground are pretty steep, so watch out for that, and even the small slide was too steep for my 16 month old. I totally recommend bringing some bubbles for the grassy areas!
