Laurelhurst Beach Club runs summer sailing camps on Lake Washington from its waterfront site at 5041 NE Laurelcrest Lane in Seattle. Campers are grouped by age: Guppies (5-7) do sailing-focused games, hands-on activities and supervised on-water time; Junior half-day campers (8-10) learn the fundamentals in Optimist dinghies; and Youth full-day campers (11-14) sail Vanguards and Lasers around the lake, including a race-focused week. Weekly sessions run from late June through late August, with morning or afternoon half-day options (9am-12pm or 1-4pm) and full days 9am-4pm. The club is membership-based but opens camp registration to non-members on March 1.

It's so quiet and peaceful. Absolutely no helicopter noise. Being a member of this elite community has allowed me to completely disconnect from the social fabric of the larger community. Laurelhurst is an absolute gem.

The Laurelhurst Beach club is a little slice of heaven. I love the LBC and so do my kids.

So nice to be out there! The sun was out and the water shimmered. It was really nice. Also have to thank one of the lifeguards for offering to help me get out of the water while I was struggling to get to the ladder. Hadn't swam in at least 10+ years which was my mistake but still thank God for the lifeguard to help me out. Other than that, I had a really nice time.

Laurelhurst Beach Club is truly a pure gem of a place, with its heavenlike tranquility and just a perfect little piece of paradise right in the city. The beach is clean and well-maintained, providing a really nice environment for families, couples, or whomever just wants to be close to the water. Facilities are clean and equipped with everything needed for a nice stay outdoors: an adequate amount of sitting space, shades, and a nice dock for swimming or just enjoying the view. The staff is very friendly, making sure everyone has a safe and fun experience. The thing I love the most about Laurelhurst Beach Club is the community. It's more than just a beach: it's where neighbors meet and children play with one another, where there's a welcome for everyone. It's the perfect spot to catch some sun and enjoy the best Seattle has in store, whether you're visiting for a quiet morning by the water or an afternoon full of energy with your friends. Five stars!

What a great place! Available to residents and their friends/family, is a great private beach. Bathrooms with showers, umbrellas and tables to use, grass area for picnics, chairs to sit, grills for BBQs.....Lifeguards are on duty to help watch the kids swim, there are paddle boats to borrow, docks to jump off of, a slide to go down, and they sell ice cream. Definitely a place to come when its hot.
