I am in year 3 of my McGaw membership and really enjoy the variety of classes offered. Many gyms only have early morning and evening class, but McGaw has a good selection of midday classes. The fitness director, Allison, is a gem, and her classes are great workouts with some fun mixed in. There are a number of good yoga teachers as well.

I love how big and spacious the fitness center is - it allows me to workout with my own routine and at my own pace. The sauna and steam room are great ways to unwind after a workout. I also love the group fitness classes on days when I lack the motivation to plan my workout, the group classes allow me to just show up and get an amazing workout done in an hour or less!

Have been coming for years now and the greeters at the front desk are consistently welcoming and efficient. Zumba is my favorite thing there and I so appreciate the instructors who do SUCH a good job. How delightful to have fun and walk into the rest of one’s day feeling energized!

Joining the McGaw YMCA has been an amazing experience! The entire staff has been so friendly and welcoming. I love playing pickleball there. Francisco and his team (shout out to Alex!) make it feel like a family! I am always greeted warmly and thanked for coming and being a part of the Y. They provide all the equipment needed to play and they make everyone feel welcome, no matter their skill level. They offer multiple days/times for pickleball open play including daytime, evening, and weekend hours. They also offer ladder leagues, instruction, and occasional tournament play. Francisco is the best! He really sets the tone for a warm and inclusive atmosphere. He is super friendly and gets to know everyone by name. I have met so many new pickleball friends through the Y!
