My son had an amazing experience this summer at Good Times. On the first day he was nervous and didn’t want to leave the car- a counselor kindly came out to encourage him and by the next morning he was asking “when can I go back to Good Times?” He had such a blast with the field trips, and I’ve seen his independent swimming skills improve a ton this summer from all of the pool time. He loved his counselors Charlie and Caroline, and every person I interacted with was wonderful. My son is already talking about next summer at Good Times!

This is my daughter’s third year attending Good Times Day Camp, and I truly can’t say enough good things about it. She absolutely loves the variety of field trips and looks forward to pool days every week! Papa Dave and Dave Jr. have been incredibly accommodating—whenever I have a request, they’re always flexible and eager to help. It’s clear they genuinely care about each camper’s experience and are passionate about what they do. One of the things I appreciate most about this camp is how inclusive it is. They embrace and celebrate each child’s uniqueness, creating an environment where everyone feels accepted and supported. I highly recommend Good Times Day Camp to any family on the North Shore—it’s been a wonderful experience for us!

I really don’t have anything else to say about this camp but truly amazing. Since 2021, I have lucky enough to have attended Good Times and can confirm that was a truly amazing time in my life. First off on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays we go to the Chicago suburbs best pools. They are really fun to attend with friends and have fun which is really helpful and fun to those wondering on how the camp operates. Speaking on the topic of swim days, we have amazing food either made or delivered on Fridays for our amazing cookouts with anything a camper would want. We have food, drinks, cotton candy, and even snow-cones! When I asked some of the fellow campers, they themselves said that cookouts were one of their favorite parts about camp. On Mondays and Wednesdays we travel to our field trips! They can range from a petting farm to Six flags great America! Overall, during my time spent at Good times I made friends, memories and bonds that I will remember forever, 5 stars.

Good Times Summer Day Camp is my favorite place to spend my summer! In my nine years of camp I can easily say I’ve had so much fun. The counselors are great and very dedicated to providing lots summer fun to the campers. The gopher program has given me so much experience getting to work with kids and hopefully be a counselor one day! Overall, Good Times is the best camp and such a great place to send your kids!
