The Emily K Center (Emily Krzyzewski Center) is a Durham nonprofit serving students traditionally underrepresented in higher education. Alongside its year-round academic and leadership programs, it runs two summer day camps open to any rising 2nd-9th grader: a one-week basketball camp and a two-week drama camp, with partial scholarships available.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Emily Krzyzewski Family Life directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Attended a training session in this well laid out facility. There is an enormous basketball court and kids; boys and girls, were enjoying playing on multiple rims set up for their enjoyment. Our training session was in another part of the facility. You have to see this place to really appreciate it. Quite impressive.
