Emerald City Drama Club runs summer camps at its West Seattle Junction studio for K-5 students, covering introductory drama, moviemaking, musical theatre, storytelling, and music theory, with separate K-2 and grades 3-5 sessions. The studio also runs acting, musical theatre, and moviemaking classes and Dungeons & Dragons campaigns through the year. It opened its West Seattle storefront studio in 2025 and states a mission of giving young artists a safe, collaborative space to work in. Daily camp hours are not stated on the services page.

In stark contrast, he’s now done one of the spring after school programs and a week of their summer camp, at EC-DC he is engaged and participating the whole time and when I pick him up he becomes an excited chatterbox of sharing. For a kid who usually doesn’t have more to say than, “it was fine” or “it was good” it is so special to see him with his communication floodgates open. Jessie knows how to create a truly inclusive environment where everyone can participate and have fun together. We will eagerly await every new season’s class schedule!
