Camps run 9am-3pm Monday through Friday from mid-June through late August at three sites (Wallingford Presbyterian, Meridian Playground, and John C. Little Park), with one-week and two-week production options and before- and after-care sold separately. My child did all three youth conservatory shows for the 2025/2026 school year and had a wonderful and transformative time. She didn't know anyone when she started her first show, but quickly bonded with other theater loving kids and couldn't wait to go to rehearsals. We also saw how greatly she grew as a person over the course of the season, gaining a confidence with speaking, acting, and with herself that she didn't have before. The teachers and environment are kind and inclusive. Thank you Stone Soup Theatre!

The kids, teachers, and organizers are all kind and welcoming, but we found the overall quality of production, organization, and theater arts to be below the bar. In our experience, it was more of an after school care program vs. a true theater and arts program where kids wanted to be there, and wanted to learn and participate. If your kid is looking for a theater and arts program, this might not be it.

Our kindergartner has now completed two stone soup camps and loved them both. The staff do an amazing job getting the young kids to learn their lines and choreography while having a ton of fun along the way.

Stone Soup Theater has been such a special place for our son! He is currently performing in his 4th production and is having the time of his life! Stone Soup’s director, Anna, has patience, a calm demeanor, all while encouraging the students to be creative. She has created a safe space, focusing on a supportive environment rather than perfection. Thank you Anna and Stone Soup!

Just wanted to say how much I admire all the effort Maureen and the rest of the staff puts into making sure kids get taken care of and leave each program having learned real skills. I get to see it first hand. Stone soup has been offering after-school theater programs for almost 30 years and that's gotta say something
