Great swim teachers, great swim team, extremely disorganized on the backend. There is a confusing system to navigate for sign up, which you will notice immediately, once through that it won't get any better. When you try to leave, you will continue to get charged, and find challenges communicating with the staff. Fair warning if you have other options.

I brought my 50-year-old father to this establishment because I thought he would enjoy swimming in a nice environment. Unfortunately, our experience was the complete opposite. We were met with hostility and treated in a threatening, unwelcoming manner. It felt clear that we were being judged based on the truck I drive and the color of our skin. My father was parked in a regular space in his red car, preparing to go inside. I pulled up briefly in my black Dodge next to him, stopping for no more than 30 seconds with the engine still running while I grabbed my laptop from him. Shortly after, we were approached in an aggressive tone and questioned about why we were there. Staff members were on the phone, seemingly calling the police, while multiple women stood watching us with fear in their eyes. I explained that I was only retrieving my laptop and would move immediately, but the employee continued to be rude and confrontational. I told her we had come in with the intention of signing up for a membership, but after being treated this way, they lost a potential member. This was an extremely disappointing and uncomfortable experience. We run a family trucking company and have very short moments of personal time. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

If you’re reading this review, you need to know that this is where your kid needs to be. If you want a solid culture and stellar coaching, which leads to the most accelerated growth and performance, this is it. Yes, the facilities might be a slightly outdated however, what matters is the coaching and the culture for a kid to thrive. They are in the best hands and this was the first place we saw our boys grow independently in the sport. Our sons were there for eight years. They grew as athletes and young men and I can tell you that Dad’s Club changed their life forever. Despite the reviews that complain about aesthetic — it never overshadowed an unmatched coaching staff that runs the Swim Team. They invest in what’s most important— Coaching Staff. Coach Rey has the BEST coaching staff with a wealth of pedigree and you will see it if you embrace swimming culture and know. If your kid is seeking a collegiate path to swimming, this is where you need to be. I would also like to say that I would reconsider some of these other comments about the facilities because at the end of the day it’s about how happy your kids are and the outcome of the work that they do at this pool. You just have to be strong enough to stick around and see. This place is where swimmers are turned to athletes, ready for anything. Anyone that reads this review and knows, Dad’s Club is awesome, unique and is the hidden gem of swim teams in Houston.

I have referred by one of my friend for my son’s swimming lesson, the evaluation took few mins only and instructor decided that my son needs some advance classes before joining any team. I said “ok fair enough” , spoken to Eva and she told me everything ( registration/ payment ..) is online. Went back home and had a few Qs , emailed them but no answer , called them but they cut the line ! So that’s the first impression!! While being there my son went to change in men’s bathroom and came out saying “mom I don’t want to be here ! The restrooms are so dirty and outdated ! “ I felt bad for poor maintained facility ,which I believe that would grab more customers if managed by professional. Alright If someone knows anywhere to put my son in pro swimming lessons in Houston let me know please 😆!

Our boys have been swimming with Dad's for two years and absolutely love it. Dad's offers lessons and year round training. It has great coaches and the club does well in competitions.
