Camp Androscoggin is a boys' overnight camp on a 120-acre lakeside campus in Wayne, run by the Hirsch family and operating since 1907. Boys ages 7–15 play a wide range of team sports and individual land and water activities across a 7.5-week season, with a four-week option for first-year campers.

I was impressed with how much attention was paid to ensure his transition was smooth, from the staff to Roberta and Peter themselves. His big brother called him the prior week to share his experience and let my son know he had someone to look out for him on the first day. Upon arrival, the staff was friendly and greeted us all with such enthusiasm. The counselor showed my son around the grounds and his bunk. As we left, I felt like he was in good hands watching him interact with the other kids. The summer turned out to be an unforgettable one for my son. He made friends he can't wait to visit during the school year and wants to go back again. It was a summer of friendship, new experiences, and fun.
